Hey, hope you guys are doing fine, a typhoon just landed here in kobe, so the rain is coming down very hard. Lets talk about how to start the day so you can be more productive. First make sure that you go to bed in a good mood the night before, this will determine how you feel when you wake up the next day, next thing is to smile when you get up, this really can help to get you in a good mood and ready for the day. Now read something Positive and think something POSITIVE, also write something POSITIVE, get yourself feeling POSITIVE! You will be surprise how much you will get from the day by doing this. Last thing, visualize how you want the day to unfold, see yourself getting things done, seeing is believing and I have found that most people go to work with a defeated attitude and it hurts them from doing anything productive, so attack the day confidence in yourself and having a positive outlook. It all about you attitude at the start of the day , so start with these tips and use them for 21 days, so you can form a habit, that I hope will last a lifetime. Ask yourself, how Im I starting the day now, and try to do something to change it for the better.

Its a raining day here in kobe, japan. Im getting ready to start the week and hoping it will get cool here soon. Lets talk about being or becoming a student of the game, because I feel to really reach your full potential, you have to study the game and try to understand the whole process of becoming a COMPLETE player, but its not easy.Thats why a lot of people give up on the game. Tennis is a FEEL game, your goal is a get better feel for the strokes every practice, then get a feel for your game, until you Feel a sense on confident and good control of your strokes. The key word is FEEL, it could be on the volleys, serve or strokes, its all the same. If you can’t get a feel for the strokes, you will not be able to hit it. To master this feel, you have to groove the stroke through repetition and focus, what you are trying to do, is let the stroke develop on its own. It will over time, I have found the biggest problem with players is that they make the game more complicated then it needs to be. If you watch the pros then adopt and adapt the things they do to your game, you will soon see a change start to take place in yours! Also enjoy the game while you are learning, you should be always smiling on the court, because this will help you to coop with the FAILURES that you will face. Last thing, becoming a student of the game only take place when you are in LEARNING mode, so stop prejudginging things and be open to everything! Good luck!
Hey guys, just checking in with you guys. Its a sun. here in kobe, japan and wanted to say a few things about the Open. First we all miss Nadal and I hope he recovers soon, next the Fed was really disappointing in his 4th round performance, he didn’t show up and me, like a lot of fans were thinking,(what the hell is this!) the sad thing about him is he needs to give his all to the game or retire. He is too good of a player and I can’t see true CHAMPIONS going out like that. Good news, Andy seems to have made a good choice in choosing Lendel as his coach, let see how he does in the final vs Ferrer or Novak. On the women side,it has been good, Kim last match was what it was, but she did finish her career in new York, lets hope that the final is good and Serena and Asavaranka can duel it out! Can’t forget about Roddick and his great career, his achievements have been under rated,so lets give him his due, this guy has stayed in the top 10 for years! Great job Andy! Wish you and your family the best, if anyone has something to add please do. hope to play and meet some of you guys out there!
I think talked about this before, but I would like to expand on it. The simple fact of the matter is we all have these powers locked up inside of us and will need to do whatever possible to tap into it. The good thing is when you start to push yourself to succeed and expect more from yourself, you begin to tap into this power that is lock up inside you. Ask yourself how much down right EFFORT have you been using to reach your full potential. What we have to do is have these CONVERSATION with ourselves periodically to motivate us. Think about how many people you know that never tap into this GREAT WITHIN and left this world with their MUSIC still inside them, yeah, too many to count. Now,the question you have to ask yourself is, am I going to let this happen to me. Then take action and start doing the things that you know you need to be doing now. Action tip-do more everyday then you have did the previous day and hold yourself to it,notice until you commit, there is always a chance that you will quit or turn back! the great Les Brown has it right when he says( live full and die empty)!
